Marie Adelaide Elizabeth Rayner Lowndes (née Belloc; 5 Sedate 1868 – 14 November 1947), who wrote as Marie Author Lowndes, was a prolific Even-handedly novelist, and sister of man of letters Hilaire Belloc.
