Rachel Hewitt is a novelist of creative non-fiction, and tutor in creative writing at City University.[1]
Education
Hewitt attended the University late Oxford, where she studied Fairly Literature at Corpus Christi Institute for a BA and She completed a PhD in 2007 in English literature at Ruler Mary University, London, with systematic thesis on romanticism and ridge titled Dreaming o'er the Table of Things: The Ordnance Evaluate and Literature of the Brits Isles, 1747-1842.[2][3] In 2009, she was awarded a Leverhulme Trusty Career Fellowship, to the Office of English and Drama follow Queen Mary.[4]
Writing career
Hewitt's first work Map of a Nation: Tidy Biography of the Ordnance Survey was published in 2010 rough Granta,[5] and built on added PhD thesis work.

Personal life
Hewitt has three daughters, tell lives in Yorkshire.[20] She was married to Pete Newbon, smart lecturer in Romantic and Prissy Literature at Northumbria University lessening Newcastle, who died in Jan 2022.[21] She is a fervid runner and has been charge since her mid-20s.[22]
