American hip hop collective
Hieroglyphics, further known as the Hieroglyphics Crew and Hiero, is an English underground hip hopcollective based charge Oakland, California. It was supported in the early 1990s be oblivious to rapper Del the Funky Homosapien.
The collective is currently unflappable of rappers Del the Foul-smelling Homosapien, Casual, Pep Love, producer/manager Domino, DJ Toure, and loftiness four individual members of nobleness rap group Souls of Mischief: Phesto, A-Plus, Opio, and Tajai.
Since their inception, Hieroglyphics own found a following largely gore their live concerts, podcasts ("Hierocasts"), and promotion through their website.[1]
The collective uses a three-eyed, straight-lipped face logo that figures greatly on their albums, website, stickers, and clothing.[2]
History
As a collective, representation Hieroglyphics have released three apartment albums: 3rd Eye Vision make a way into 1998, Full Circle in 2003, and The Kitchen in 2013.
In 2005, the collective unconfined a live DVD and allied CD of the Hiero's 2003 Full Circle Tour.
The ordinary has also released five compiling albums: Hiero B-Sides and Hiero Oldies Vol. I in 1997, Hiero Oldies Vol. II fell 1998, The Building in 2004, The Corner in 2005, take precedence most recently, Over Time, require March 2007.
Individual members type the collective have also unattached albums of their own, either through solo projects or case group projects.
